The Great @landley is doing a talk on building the smallest possible Linux system and demonstrating using QEMU to run a build.

And guess what architecture he's using? 😁😁

You know.

Great keynote conversation today at the Open Source Summit NA with Dirk Hohndel and Linus Torvalds
My main takeaway: if you don't credit your interpreter / compiler for the resulting artifact, no reason to credit LLMs for the same work
Oh, and we don't need to worry about our jobs, we are programmers

Ready for the final day at #OSSummit North America. Looking forward to more interesting topics and new contacts to bring home to #TYPO3. @typo3

Cotton candy Tux. Would nom again.

(Ok, I only ate half of it, cotton candy is A LOT) #OSSummit

Learning from the inimitable @jerdog about his perspective of DevEx as a flywheel at Open Source Summit #OSSummit

The announcement of Azure Linux VM images from Microsoft yesterday during the keynotes was quite the surprise, but I was pleased to learn that @sjvn had done the legwork to get details and write up a whole article about it: https://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-releases-its-first-server-linux-distribution-azure-linux-4-0/

And I was even more pleased to get to catch up with Stephen for a few minutes this morning πŸ˜„ #OSSummit

OMG OMG tonight the #OSSummit reception was at Mill City Museum! And then there was a drone show sponsored by @uvify, and it had a floppy diskette and binary, and terminal commands and Tux the Linux penguin dressed as Prince!!! And I got to watch it in a pouring thunderstorm!!!!
Sitting in the audience at conferences creates an asymmetric intellectual stimulation that leads me to silly places #OSSummit

Always love to see s390x support mentioned on a slide.

(This wasn't a surprise though, ContextForge was on-boarded to our GitHub Actions service back in March) #OSSummit
