Browser Independence.
Migrating my bookmark collection out of the #firefox sync-service and into #emacs #orgmode using #syncthing and #orgzlyrevived .
I provide a tinytiny #elisp function to help out.
#slackware gets a cameo in a footnote.

Anyone have a fave multi-device #bookmark-sharing workflow?
I like to keep 0 open tabs, and I use bookmarks extensively. For years, I've been using the #firefox sync service to keep my bookmarks synced between my phone, laptop, etc. I figure it might be a good idea to have an exit plan just in case.
Once upon a time, I used #orgzly on android and #org-mode on proper computers, synced with dropbox. Any better options out there than #orgzlyrevived and ssh-sync to my server?
@RockyC Yes, I think the big selling point is that it opens the possibility of linking many other programs as #rclone or the one I was interested in, #orgzlyrevived
With that in mind, I can bear the not so great performance 🙂
This is how I keep my #Emacs and #OrgzlyRevived on Android consistent for #GTD (and other things)
@Xhuul
I use #NextcloudNotes, #Zettlr, #kwrite and a bit #tangent ( and obsidian too, but
)
I try also orgmode with #orgzlyrevived and I like it - I tried also #emacs but that too hermetic for me …
Yes, #orgzly (or #orgzlyrevived) works for me, but adding internal links is convoluted, which means it's not good for #OrgRoam or #zettelkasten
Oh well, was worth asking...
