So after 40 years we're finally getting an inquiry into Orgreave. This is a testament to the tireless work of campaigners. Hopefully it can avoid the glacial pace of the Undercover Policing Inquiry and some of the people brutalised by the police will still be alive when it reports

With #Orgreave in the news, we’re very proud to live nearby. Regularly go over the bridge and graffiti of #Scargill and Tories Out is still there.

Enquiry is long over due. The house we live in is the first time non-miners have lived in it and there are still many people round here that suffered from the police stitch-up.
