fwiw - I made a minor contribution to terraform pre the BSL change..not happy about the license change, but atleast we have #opentofu
I don't think that Mitchel had decision making authority in the terraform BSL change (not in a leadership position when the decision was made afaik). I also am not familiar the his exit from hashicorp; perhaps you're a little hard on him here? 🤷♂️

ShadowTux@irfan Been meaning to do that also for some time. Now for my setup I'd probably go with #opentofu insead of #terraform
Using that to do initial configurations but after that maybe #ansible would be better option. 
MikaJust discovered that #Terraform supports #Proxmox... might be a nice lil weekend project - importing my Proxmox config into Terraform lol. I feel like that makes more sense than smtg like #Ansible right?

阿伦一定要出村实验成功！刚把之前手动创建的adguard instance用automated instance取代了。opentofu创建vm， 然后asible打补丁，创建用户，harden ssh, 安装并设置adguard home, 最后再安装上tailscale 设置subnet mode让我能通过它从外部访问家庭网络服务。nice！ 全程的手动操作就是在tailscale 点击授权下subnet mode 太棒啦！
算是把vm lifecycle end-to-end 跑通啦！下一步就是开始用同样的方式创建k3s server 实例啦，最后再把我现在手动创建的实例也取代掉。

病假给了我很多时间去搞homelab 今天把terraform module 加上了， ansible playbook也跑起来了，这边 tofu apply 然后 ansible-playbook 进行config. 还把tasks 整合进了 roles. 今天还读了一点production kubernetes 觉得受益匪浅！ 非常棒的一本书！
病假后半段我状态好点了不再一整天都虚弱躺着了就开始不停思考， 我感觉自己把整个人生都分析和重构了一遍， 从财务规划到退休计划从职业发展到知识管理…
明天打算把这两步整合一下：provision a VM, install k3s, install Rancher, then let Rancher create/register another downstream cluster 顺便处理下cert-manager DNS-01 拿证书
