Today I was reminded of the practical difference at of adopting Free and #OpenSource Software compared to proprietary products at businesses. For proprietary products the vendor advertises new features and other products that might be of interest to you. In #FOSS you are more expected to do your own research to select software and start using it. So a proactive attitude and community involvement helps to execute on an #OpenSourceStrategy.
