🚨 Open Call: Fall 2026 Guest Curator

We’re opening applications for a Guest Curator to shape our Fall 2026 Lecture Series at Type Electives. This is a one semester, paid creative opportunity for someone who wants to bring new voices, ideas and energy into our community.

You’ll help shape the conversations happening in our space by defining a theme, giving the opening lecture, curating four guest sessions and leading a short online workshop. We’ll support you with mentorship, planning and guidance throughout the fall.

🧩 24 Ideas. 1 Future | O-CEI Horizon Open Call Winners We are concluding our look at Pilot 2 winners by focusing on the "language" that machines use to talk to each other. When dealing with electric vehicles and critical infrastructure, that communication doesn't just need to be fast, it needs to be mission-critical and safe. eProsima is an European leader in high-performance middleware for distributed systems. They are the driving force behind Fast DDS, the default communication standard for ROS 2, and their technology is used globally in robotics, automotive, and defense sectors where reliability is non-negotiable. 🎬 OPEN CALL: Film Zomerkamp 2026 🎬

Ben je tussen de 16 en 28 jaar, nieuwsgierig, gemotiveerd en lijkt het je leuk om samen een korte film te maken? Meld je aan voor het Film Zomerkamp van Sickhouse!

Van 6 t/m 17 juli werk je samen met een diverse groep jongeren aan een gezamenlijke korte film. Je hebt geen ervaring met film of een creatieve achtergrond nodig — alleen tijd, enthousiasme en zin om samen iets te creëren.

✨ Extra bijzonder dit jaar: kunstenaar Josefin Arnell (binnenkort te zien bij Sickhouse) sluit enkele dagen aan om de groep te begeleiden bij het ontwikkelen van een script vanuit improvisatiewerk.

🎥 De film die tijdens het kamp wordt gemaakt, gaat in première tijdens de opening van KO(O)RTS, ons kortefilmfestival.

📅 Nieuwe deadline voor aanmelding: 15 juni 2026

We selecteren 15 deelnemers en streven naar een diverse groep.
