Again, instead of dealing with his systematic underfunding of education in Ontario, this is about Ford looking like the hero who is fixing a problem with education.
He's going to get so much earned media for this announcement. Just like this.
This is a PR sleight of hand.

This is terrible. The Ford government is splashing out cash to fund tunnels under the 401 and build shiny new convention centres on Toronto's waterfront and is harming the most vulnerable students to help fund it.
