Follows Hiromasa, an amiable but minor young lord in the Imperial court, as he becomes the unofficial liaison and eventual friend to Seimei, the most accomplished astrologer/magician (onmyoji) of the era. Due to his partial fox ancestry, Seimei is a distrusted outcast who has become a misanthrope and who Miromasa must persuade to help against spiritual afflictions.

As an onmyōji (陰陽師) Seimei worked in the palace's onmyō-ryō (陰陽寮 'Bureau of Yin-Yang Divination'), responsible for geomantic and spiritual matters.
Amongst his many tasks was onmyō (Yin-Yang divination), tenmon (天文-astronomy), koyomi (暦-calendar making), and rōkoku (漏刻-time keeping).
Seimei was charged with protecting the court by predicting future events, something he became so adept at that he was in constant demand.

There's this super simple #Onmyoji Netflix Anime and I would like to say something deep about it. But the only thing I can think of is that it's really nice to watch a story about two friends. And of course in my #BL mind I could imagine them as being also romantically involved, but no, it wouldn't make the story any "better" or meaningful.
Two friends can be a beautiful thing just in itself.
