Quasi nessuno ha votato secondo le indicazioni di partito, solo una minoranza lo ha fatto contro il governo. E, nel complesso, il giudizio nel merito della riforma ha prevalso sulla volontà di dare un segnale politico. È quanto emerge da un “dossier post-voto” sul referendum costituzionale pubblicato da YouTrend a poche ore dalla vittoria del No: il 61% di chi ha votato per bocciare la riforma Nordio indica tra le ragioni “il desiderio di non modificare la Costituzione“, il 39% dice di averlo fatto (anche) per “contrastare il sorteggio dei componenti del Consiglio superiore della magistratura”. Solo al terzo posto, indicata dal 31% degli interpellati, la motivazione di “dare un voto di opposizione al governo Meloni”, mentre appena il 7% afferma di aver seguito le indicazioni del partito di riferimento.
Anche tra chi ha votato Sì, solo l’8% dice di averlo fatto per direttiva di partito e il 18% per “dare un voto di sostegno al governo Meloni“, mentre la motivazione più indicata è quella di “sostenere la separazione delle carriere nella magistratura”, citata dal 59% (solo per il 4%, invece, ha rappresentato un motivo per votare no). Nel complesso, il 28% degli elettori (il 21% tra quelli del Sì, il 34% tra quelli del No) dichiara che nel suo voto ha pesato di più “la volontà di dare un segnale politico“, mentre il 69% (il 76% tra quelli del Sì, il 63% tra quelli del No) cita come fattore prevalente “il giudizio nel merito della riforma”.

Almost no one voted according to party instructions, only a minority did so against the government. And, overall, the assessment of the reform prevailed over the desire to send a political signal. This emerges from a “post-vote dossier” on the constitutional referendum published by YouTrend just hours before the No victory: 61% of those who voted to reject the Nordio reform cited “the desire not to modify the Constitution,” 39% said they did so (also) to “counter the lottery of members of the Superior Council of Magistracy.” Only in third place, indicated by 31% of those surveyed, was the motivation of “giving a vote of opposition to the Meloni government,” while just 7% said they followed the instructions of their referring party.

Even among those who voted Sì, only 8% said they did so by directive of party and 18% for “giving a vote of support to the Meloni government,” while the most cited motivation was “to support the separation of judicial careers,” cited by 59% (only for 4%, instead, it was a reason to vote no). Overall, 28% of voters (21% among those who voted Sì, 34% among those who voted No) declared that their vote was influenced more by “the desire to send a political signal,” while 69% (76% among those who voted Sì, 63% among those who voted No) cited “the assessment of the reform itself” as the prevailing factor.

Il Tempo: Iran, attacco a sorpresa: missili contro base Diego Garcia

(Adnkronos) - L'Iran lancia due missili contro la base anglo-americana di Diego Garcia, nell'Oceano Indiano, a circa 4000 km. Una distanza simile è ampiamente inferiore a quella che separa Teheran da molte capitali europee. L'azione, come riferisce il Wall Street Journal, rappresenta una potenziale svolta nel conflitto a prescindere dall'esito dell'attacco. I due missili - probabilmente Khorramshahr-4 o un nuovo IRBM- non hanno centrato l'obiettivo: uno sarebbe stato neutralizzato da un problema di funzionamento, l'altro sarebbe stato intercettato. La scelta dell'obiettivo, però, è un segnale eloquente. Il Regno Unito ha appena deciso di concedere agli Stati Uniti l'uso delle proprie basi per gli attacchi: gli asset di Londra, come ha annunciato il ministro degli Esteri iraniano Abbas Araghchi, diventano un obiettivo legittimo.
Fino ad oggi si riteneva che i missili a raggio intermedio a disposizione di Teheran avessero la capacità di colpire obiettivi a 2000 km di distanza. La decisione di lanciare contro la base di Diego Garcia indica le potenzialità decisamente maggiori degli armamenti ancora in dotazione alla repubblica islamica. La base angloamericana è un hub chiave nell'operazione Furia Epica in corso dal 28 febbraio. Da Diego Garcia decollano bombardieri e velivoli destinati a fornire supporto logistico.
I raid americani e israeliani hanno fortemente ridotto le capacità iraniane di lanciare missili. Secondo i dati citati negli ultimi giorni dal presidente degli Stati Uniti, Donald Trump, Teheran avrebbe conservato solo l'8% delle proprie capacità. Si stima che prima dell'inizio del conflitto Teheran potesse contare su almeno 1000-1500 missili. Tra questi, i Soumar hanno un raggio d'azione inferiore in ogni caso ai 3000 km. I missili Sejjil possono colpire obiettivi a 2000 km di distanza. Anche i droni Shahed possono essere impiegati in raid a medio-lungo raggio, considerando che operano fino a 1700 km dal punto di lancio.
L'Iran avrebbe utilizzato anche il missile ipersonico Fattah, fiore all'occhiello delle dotazioni belliche di Teheran. In base ai dati diffusi dai media iraniani, il missile Fattah - presentato nel 2023 - è in grado di toccare la velocità tra mach 13 (circa 16.000 km/h) e mach 15 (circa 18.500 km/h) ed è in grado di raggiungere obiettivi a circa 1400 km.

Iran, surprise attack: missiles against Diego Garcia base

(Adnkronos) - Iran launches two missiles against the Anglo-American base at Diego Garcia, in the Indian Ocean, approximately 4000 km away. This distance is significantly shorter than the one separating Tehran from many European capitals. The action, as reported by the Wall Street Journal, represents a potential turning point in the conflict regardless of the outcome of the attack. The two missiles – likely Khorramshahr-4 or a new IRBM – did not hit the target; one was neutralized by a malfunction, and the other was intercepted. However, the choice of target is a telling signal. The United Kingdom has just decided to allow the United States to use its bases for attacks: London’s assets have become a legitimate target.

Until now, it was believed that the medium-range missiles at Tehran’s disposal had the capability to strike targets at 2000 km distance. The decision to launch against the Diego Garcia base indicates the significantly greater potential of the armaments still held by the Islamic Republic. The Anglo-American base is a key hub in the ongoing “Epic Fury” operation, which began on February 28th. From Diego Garcia, bombers and aircraft are taking off to provide logistical support.

American and Israeli raids have severely reduced Iran’s missile launching capabilities. According to data cited in recent days by US President Donald Trump, Tehran has retained only 8% of its capabilities. It is estimated that before the start of the conflict, Tehran could have relied on at least 1000-1500 missiles. Among these, the Soumar have a range inferior to 3000 km. The Sejjil missiles can hit targets at 2000 km distance. Shahed drones can also be used in medium to long-range raids, considering they operate up to 1700 km from the launch point.

Iran has also used the hypersonic missile Fattah, the centerpiece of Tehran’s military equipment. According to data released by Iranian media, the Fattah missile – unveiled in 2023 – is capable of reaching speeds between mach 13 (approximately 16,000 km/h) and mach 15 (approximately 18,500 km/h) and can reach targets at around 1400 km.
