I was protecting myself and my Fediverse server from harm and preventing further harm. I told them that what they said hurts me and that I seek justice. Their gangs came in further to harass me and further defend their offensive and profane behaviour, challenging my dignity. I will never forget.

Main difference between #socialmedia and #onlinecommunity is the algorithm -- in community, the participants, not the provider, choose where to put their attention. It's easy enough to spin up your own forum, discord, google group at little to no cost.
