Ferrari SC40, najnowszy projekt typu One-Off z Maranello, otrzymał prestiżowy tytuł Red Dot: Best of the Best 2026 w kategorii Product Design. Jest to pierwszy w historii model z serii Special Projects, który został uhonorowany tym najwyższym wyróżnieniem przyznawanym przez niemieckie stowarzyszenie.
Współczesny hołd dla F40
Samochód został zaprojektowany przez Ferrari Design Studio pod kierownictwem Flavio Manzoniego jako spersonalizowany, unikatowy egzemplarz dla jednego klienta. Choć konstrukcyjnie bazuje na architekturze, podwoziu i układzie napędowym modelu 296 GTB, jego nadwozie otrzymało zupełnie nową formę.
Stylistyka SC40 stanowi współczesną interpretację i hołd dla legendarnego Ferrari F40. Sylwetka berlinetty charakteryzuje się długim, niskim przodem oraz krótkim tylnym zwisem. Elementem dominującym jest stałe tylne skrzydło, które wraz z resztą nadwozia wykończono w dedykowanym kolorze Bianco SC40.
Projekt łączy geometryczną precyzję z muskularnymi bryłami, co ma podkreślać jego techniczny charakter.
Wnętrze i osiągi
W kabinie postawiono na materiały nawiązujące do surowej filozofii F40. Zastosowano tam m.in. reinterpretowany carbon-kevlar, tkaniny techniczne oraz Alcantarę. Pod względem technicznym SC40 korzysta z potencjału hybrydowego układu napędowego V6 umieszczonego centralnie. Jednostka generuje moc systemową 830 KM, co przekłada się na następujące osiągi:
Program Special Projects i ekspozycja w Maranello
Model SC40 powstał w ramach programu Ferrari Special Projects. Pozwala on wybranym klientom na stworzenie unikatowego pojazdu w ścisłej współpracy z projektantami i inżynierami aerodynamiki z Maranello.
Ferrari Purosangue z pakietem Handling Speciale. Bardziej zwarte prowadzenie i sportowe V12
Cały proces – od pierwszej koncepcji, przez stworzenie modelu stylistycznego, aż po produkcję gotowego egzemplarza – trwa średnio około dwóch lat. Zanim gotowy samochód trafił do właściciela, Ferrari przygotowało model stylistyczny w skali 1:1, który obecnie można oglądać w Museo Ferrari w Maranello.
Warto odnotować, że w ciągu ostatnich 12 lat Ferrari zdobyło łącznie 35 nagród Red Dot, z czego aż 13 to najwyższe wyróżnienia Best of the Best. Oficjalna ceremonia wręczenia tegorocznych nagród odbędzie się 7 lipca 2026 roku w Essen.
