March - I am focusing on one of my learning goals this year, Spanish. I know doing a little daily is better than trying to cram. So … #onemonthonehabit is doing 20 minutes of Pimsleur or similar each day. I have these leg compression sleeves (recovery aid) that are on a 20 minute timer. Perfect.

I also added this to my calendar daily.

11 out of 28 days with my February “habit”. Clearly not working. I walked more than this but often finding time during the day. Wrapping up #onemonthonehabit with something of a fail, but learning anyway.

One thing I know - the Apple Reminders app is not very useful for this kind of thing. It’s both annoying but also easy to skip somehow.

4:10 as it’s fallen apart. I blame the Super Bowl for one of these but the rest is on me. Pure laziness and somehow 5pm isn’t a great time or the blaring reminder isn’t enough. #onemonthonehabit is struggling.

February #onemonthonehabit off to a good start with a nice walk helped by the fact that it was warmer in Boulder than Las Vegas, Miami, etc. 65F and lovely. I hope the groundhog sees its shadow today and declares that maybe just maybe winter can start.

February’s #onemonthonehabit is going for a short walk at 5pm daily. I often get 10k steps in but there are days I don’t. Getting outside is good for the soul. Walking seems like the best way to rehab the aches and pains from the gym.

How: i set a daily reminder with an alarm. If that doesn’t do the trick I’ll find an app. Make it more vigorous.

Wrapping up the #onemonthonehabit with #slowcarb. I didn’t get a second measurement in this week due to travel. But I *feel* better on this plan. If nothing else I eat fewer calories just because without starchy things getting more calories is difficult. Also we’re eating more beans and lentils. I’m going to stick with this at least another month and see how the results go.
