I'm not saying he won't do it, he probably will. Let's keep in mind whether it is the most impactful thing he's doing.
For example, his plan to revoke access to cabinet ministers' offices' communications through FOIA requests is going to make it much more difficult to hold this administration accountable in the future.
Doug Ford’s idea to fill in part of the harbour for jets requires an extension of 557m — longer than an Eaton Centre, four full subway trains, or twenty streetcars, just to reach the recommended runway for Embraer’s small jets.
All this will accomplish is to raise house prices by the cost of the rebate.

Developers of new homes would seem to have an interest in driving up prices, not driving them down.

Saw Doug Ford on CTV News claiming that his FOI changes bring Ontario in line with Ottawa and the rest of the provinces.
Is that true?

The #Ontario government has made criteria for designations of special economic zones: https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/250373. They did not update the #ERO to include this information. Not included in choosing projects is environmental and health impacts of such a project.
