Doug Ford warning FIFA of anything just strikes me as hilarious.
Okay tough guy.
FIFA is not some alleged shoplifter in a Home Depot parking lot.

I was afraid when I heard the Ford government, known for hatred of cyclists, was going to require licenses for ebikes. But that's not right.
All of this seems entirely reasonable. Basically: pedal and throttle assist bikes below 32kmph are a bike, and those faster are a motorcycle.

For years, the most dangerous e-bikes were allowed, while smaller, safer ones — used by many parents to take their kids to school — were illegal. New regulations could change that.
This sounds like a good idea however it is not because it's simply another version of a retirement home on a larger scale; a place to warehouse and isolate older and disabled people.
The pubic will forget and services will be lacking, everything hidden from view, very much like Doug Ford's low income slum housing projects- a place of chaos and suffering.
There are no enforced regulations for eldercare, until there is, this will become another profitable cash cow
A pedestrian was killed today along Eglinton Ave. W.
This is the part of Eglinton that does not have a protected bike lane.
The street is way too fast, and is being used as an entrance to the highway.
Build the the bike lanes, slow the traffic down. Make this portion of Eglinton a nice street again.
There is now a subway underneath the street, that cost billions to build, but the surface traffic is still given up to speeding cars.
The city wanted to build a bike lane, but has back tracked on that.
Other portions of Eglinton have a bike lane, and the stores are doing better, and the street feels more livelier in those areas.

If only Ontario had its own post-secondary educational system of universities and colleges that could provide such services.
