@onelson uhg, that's super annoying!
I can't properly answer your question but, as an analogue, our 8yo had to cut recovery carbs back from 15g to 4g to prevent this exact scenario after switching from injections to an #Omnipod5.
It's wild, honestly. A recovery that would have usually needed 15g (or more) is now reliably 4-6g (or as many as 8g for a steeper drop).
Perhaps you're in a similar boat these days?
Now, I just get to wait and stare at this until the 21st when #Diabetes Education can squeeze me in to switch from my #tslimX2 by #TandemDiabetes to the new #Omnipod5 by #Insulet. I could just do it myself, like when I self started on the #tslim, but figured I probably shouldn’t upset them again. 😂
I think the thing I’m excited about the most is being tubeless, just because doorknobs and handles have been my greatest enemies, not to say a doorframe won’t become my new enemy. Also, I just love getting to use new #technology all the time. I’m happiest when I can use my joy for #tech and #nerd out with my #Type1Diabetes. 🤓
