Part of the cast iron latticework Victorian bridge which carries Benalder Street in Glasgow across the River Kelvin, and above the former Partick Central Railway Station, whose platforms still lie beneath it (just of of shot to the right of this photo). I'll feature the remains of the station itself in my next post.
The former Gallowgate Central Railway Station on the Glasgow and District Railway Line. Situated under what is now Millroad Drive, this station opened in 1892 and closed in 1917. Trains stopping here ran between Bridgeton Central and High Street Station.
