I also see many posts from people aged 40 and above, who otherwise identify vaguely left, openly displaying their adultism here unchallenged. The meme is correct in that as we age, we care less about being cool, or basically what anyone else thinks of us. Once you hit retirement, feel free to dress as you please, wear your hair or beard long, pierce assorted parts of your body, get a tattoo on your forehead.
Quite possibly, It is only when you stop worrying about being cool that you actually become cool.

There are two whitish chihuahua mixes that roam the hood & tend to hang out in front of the house mainly because we’re in the middle of the neighborhood so all the dogs pass by our garden wall & street lamp. Sniff central. Well, today a neighbor insisted that these two dogs she caught were mine. I said do you think that i am so stupid I can’t recognize my own dogs.
