In addition to the risks traditionally associated with office work, real estate agents are vulnerable to risks arising from contacts with clients and visiting sites, sometimes under construction, as well as from biological agents present in already-occupied buildings. To help real estate companies to manage these hazards, our Online interactive Risk Assessment (OiRA) partners in Belgium and Bulgaria have released tailored OiRA tools in Dutch, French and Bulgarian.

The arrival of Covid-19 has brought increased attention to the existing dangers in workplaces for people employed in the human health care and social work sector.The sector’s main risks are biological, chemical and physical and also psychosocial due to issues like third-party violence, exposure to traumatic events, high workload, dealing with difficult customers and shift work. Identifying these risks is crucial to successfully manage them.
There are great examples of #RiskAssessment resources across Member States, such as national #OiRAtools and it is a key function of @EU_OSHA to identify and spread those examples - William Cockburn at the #OSHSummit today in Stockholm.
