Something new in my Etsy shop. I used 3 types of blue to make the beads for this piece: both dark and light opaque marbled blue and transparent electric blue. The first few bits from my new studio. After 6 weeks away from the torch, I spent the first few days regaining muscle memory in my hands. These are new pieces with the first few beads. 3 pair of earrings in copper, including 2 with hand hammered copper and bronze discs, 3 pair in sterling silver, and a heart pendant in transparent pink, mango, orange and oxblood. It may never be pretty, but it's functional. I'm up and running in my new studio, the old metal-roofed cinder block building on the property. I've run power 150 feet to the structure, cleared it of debris, etc. and am set up with a hot head. West Coast and East Coast friends: I've arrived in Athens, OH. I've been unpacking and organizing. Here's a view out the window: Lush, green woodlands that slope down the hill. Started my first morning with a friendly chipmunk and birds just inches from my window (that's my British Bobby bear on the window sill, not a large, well dressed chipmunk).
