It's not really a surprise to me anymore that I'm weird, but it still amuses me when something very concrete comes up to underscore it. Most recent example:

I just got an email from my LYS and it had photos of some knitting accoutrements. One looked like a slap bracelet with Ogham on it. "Cool!" I thought, and embiggened the picture, expecting ancient Celtic sayings about wool.

Reader, it was a ruler. πŸ˜…
