Seems like this is the year of stuff getting broken for me.

Yesterday my office chair did start to sag. I was a little bit confused and readjusted the height once again.

Today the same happened so I turned him over and I did want to check the gas spring. As I lifted the chair the spring separated the top and the bottom.

I think I properly do need a new one or a replacement part. But I bought the chair back in the end of 2016 so this is fine I guess.

Однажды икея сделала свое лучшее эргономичное компьютерное кресло, но никто этого не заметил. В 2006 икея выпустила Kläppe. Дизайнером был Олле Лундберг (Olle Lundberg), сейчас у него собственное архитектурно-интерьерное бюро в Сан Франциско, но вообще чего он только не делал из мебели. Стол Galant и светильники для икеи, кресла для Savo (с очень похожим механизмом). Klappe было дорогим и вероятно самым продвинутым в тогдашней икеевской линейке офисных кресел. Гарантия десять лет. Синхромеханизм, настройки глубины сидения, высота спинки, наклон вперед, все то, что сейчас есть в креслах примерно от 1500$. И очень тяжелым, значительная часть кресла была из металла. В то время икея еще делала приличные вещи, но даже на фоне них, кресло было совсем не по икеевски монументальное. Стоило около трехста долларов, на треть дороже появившегося позже, в 2008, Маркуса. Клаппе выпускалось шесть лет, выпуск же маркуса продолжается и сейчас, ему стукнуло семнадцать.
