#winter months offer lots of time for #volunteering. #Shoveling driveways, #walking #dogs for people who aren't able to venture outside, #grocerydeliveries, #cleaning, or #servingfood in #soupkitchens can #helppeople move & #meetnewfriends.
Some #volunteer efforts are #community-organized, while others can be arranged by simply noticing a #neighbor's struggles & #offeringhelp. Volunteering can support the #health of the #community and reduce feelings of #isolation, which can build in winter.
