More sketches from my sketchbooks! Sangreal may be a pistrix, but thanks to his friendship with a powerful Sea Warlock, the guy spends a lot of time in human form. So... some human form sketches for y'all!
(Despite being inspired by Lysandre, as much so that in the "fanfiction version of the story" they're kinda the same character, in human form Sangreal's hair is less cartoony and extreme... you get it? You get it? The mythical creature has less extreme hair than Lysandre, haha).
1. Just some sketches of him getting prepared in the morning. Sometimes he likes having the beard well combed in that sort of geometrical "greek" shape.
2. At first, we didn't want to include a Corbeau equivalent in the story; we thought... nah... we don't need to move the entire cast to sea! Let's pretend he's not there. Then, however, the idea arose that, a bit like the prince in The Little Mermaid, who was saved by the protagonist, there should also be this character, who as a child was saved from drowning by the hands of a mythical creature (Sangreal), an event that changed him forever... magic sparkles*... but Sangreal doesn't even remember it. Who knows, for him it was just another Friday.
3. An illustration for chapter 5 of Fish Don't Cry, where the Panorme/Platane family invites our fish friend to a party before setting off on their expedition aboard the Nihil.

Sangreal has a very special pet... it's a Stylephorus chordatus, or tubefish (look it up! It's a hilarious creature) named... er... "Anxiety You Get When You Smell Ammonia in the Water," or "Ammonia" for short.
