LibreOffice 26.2 aggiunge il supporto Markdown in Writer. I documenti possono essere importati o esportati in formato .md, facilitando la conversione tra file ODT, DOCX e contenuti usati nei flussi di lavoro tecnici.
This ODT editorial is from last week but it's worth noting how strongly they come out against the coalition government's all-out war on clean vehicles and a cleaner environment.
Soon after taking office, National ditched the Clean Car Discount scheme, just as it was beginning to flip the fleet. Now they're killing the Clean Vehicle Standard to encourage the import of the dirtiest vehicles. They're willingly sacrificing NZ's environment, merely to line the pockets of a handful of vehicle importers.
As the ODT says, Luxon's government is "prioritising private interests over the nation's future."

Pandoc est désormais utilisable via une application web officielle.

On parle ici d’un fantastique convertisseur de fichiers, que j’utilise personnellement pour rédiger confortablement tout mon travail dans un format texte adapté à mes besoins d’écriture scientifique et ensuite exporter mes fichiers dans différents formats (HTML, PDF via LaTeX, ODT, docx, EPUB…).
Pandoc s’utilise normalement en ligne de commande, un environnement qui fait parfois peur aux néophytes (ce qui m’avait motivé à écrire un tutoriel sur la découverte du terminal).
Ici, on a une interface web, réalisée grâce au format WebAssembly, donc zéro installation requise, mais aussi des exemples pré-chargés, et la garantie que rien ne s’échappe vers un serveur puisque la conversion se passe en local.

It was a Thursday, I started my first paid IT jobs. It was a group start, 15 young fresh faced IT grads.
New Parliament House in Canberra was still lots of cranes. Stayed at Macquarie Hostel, initially. Built in 1969*, closed [and redeveloped] in the early naughties.
40 years! Did I say I feel really old.
