A drop of bitterness: knowing that the only truly effective measure for that particular region to significantly reduce the risk of lethal collisions is the reduction of vessel speed, it is a disappointment that this measures to slow down to between 10 and 13 knots is recommended in a kind of voluntary manner. #OceanCare treats this as our mandate to immediately start working in collaboration with the #ShippingIndustry convincing them about the need to act to slow down.
