Life in the USA is in so many ways painfully shitty. I call my rep almost daily, & email my senators just as often (no one ever answers the phone or clears out the vm). I donate to local aid groups & hope it helps. There's so much more that needs to be done.

But it isn't hopeless, and even in the darkest times you need light and love. So after #DnD last night I finished painting this kitsuni mini from #Oathsworn & now taking the 5yo sledding.

The Oathsworn Miniatures web shop is closed for a couple of weeks.

What we have to remember, is that they are a small company - in fact, a husband and wife team - who work their socks off to create Burrows and Badgers, all the associated miniature sculpting and casting, and even lovingly package and send off the orders.

So they're having a well-earned break. I hope they enjoy their time off and come back refreshed and energised.
