VCFD had a fox rescue this week:
"Fox rescued by VCFD Firefighters in Oak View, CA:
Earlier this week, VCFD Medic Rescue Engine 23 responded to a public service call at a home in Oak View near Ojai. When firefighters arrived, they discovered a fox that had become trapped in some netting and was unable to get free.
Firefighters carefully and gently cut away and untangled the netting, assessed the fox to ensure they were uninjured and released them back into the wild. "
Mounties say 55-year-old Jamie Wade was last seen on Friday, Oct. 27 around 6:30 p.m. Investigators say he was seen with his vehicle at a gas station in Brandon. It is believed that Wade drove home from the gas station, but was not seen again...
