It happened again 

They took my seat reservation as a ticket

The UI in the ÖBB Tickets app looks the same if you have:

  • A valid ticket, and a button to show Vorteilscard (the 50% off discount), or if you have
  • A seat reservation, and a button to show the Reservierungsvorteil (the 50% off of seat reservations)

I showed the conductor the Reservierungsvorteil first, he told me I should go back in the UI, after which he scanned my seat reservation (not a ticket), and then Reservierungsvorteil.

I believe they think it's a ticket + Vorteilscard.

I mean, I then also asked him if he wants to see my KlimaTicket Ö (which I do have) I even opened it, but he showed no interest in it.

Only joking if I also have a ticket for my Blåhaj.

This is now the 6th or 7th time they (presumably) mistook a seat reservation + Reservierungsvorteil as a ticket + Vorteilscard.

Ich weiß, ich wiederhole mich, aber 750€ für hin und zurück nach Rom im Nachtzug (Liegewagen mit 2 Kindern) ist einfach zu teuer.
Die Unterkunft in Rom kostet nicht mal das.

How does #ÖBB manage to offer "express" trains that are slower than the regular ones, despite making fewer stops????

RJ with 2h 29min and RJX with 2h 34min.

This doesn't make any sense.
Even the tickets are more expensive for the RJX, despite taking longer.

Oh, and the same connection with #westbahn only takes 2h 22min

Why?
I mean, I know the locomotives have worse acceleration than the SMILEs of Westbahn, but why are the RJs slower than the RJXs?
And why charge more?

Does anyone know?

Frage an die #Bahn-Nerds: Wenn die #ÖBB bei der #Nightjet-Buchung schreibt, "andere Reisende im Abteil möglich" heißt das dann, man selbst kann noch jemanden mitnehmen, oder dass man das Abteil (trotz des Preises) nicht privat hat? (Eine Option "Abteil privat buchen" oder so gibt's nicht)
