With regard to the fluctuating #NZPol poll numbers over recent months I find this poll to probably be the most accurate so far.

Considering the NZ Greens Party are the third largest political party currently in #Aotearoa #NewZealand parliament and had a 12.2% share of the vote in the 2023, for this headline to read Greens surge to 13% says more about the media than the NZ Greens Party.

I know many Green supporters and I really don’t think I know a single one that would have shifted their support since the last election which leads me to believe that the Greens with now even more support are more likely polling higher than the reported 13%.

Let’s hope #NZMedia start giving the Greens the proportional media representation their polling deserves.

I just watched footage of creep Simeon Brown and his equally awkward leader fondling and kissing babies apparently to promote their additional budget funding to extend post natal care by a couple of days - note; that post natal care facilities are all privately owned so it's more funding for the private sector at the cost of public health.

The NZ taxpayers union and NZ Initiative are both affiliated members of the #AtlasNetwork and the #Act Party the #NZPol political arm of the Atlas Network.

I believe #NZMedia should have to declare these groups and political party’s association with the Atlas Network when providing groups such as Tax Payers Union with airtime to promote neoliberal ideas.

With the absolute failure of #NZMedia to adhere to any form of ethical nonpartisan journalism and with the increasing amount of misleading information being presented as fact it's important to have alternative sources of information and analysis regarding #NZPol particularly with less than 6 months till the next #NZElection on 7 November 2026.
