On the way back from the Waikato, stopped at the Blue Spring, near Putaruru. Nice day for a walk along the stream. The water bottle drink "pump" comes from here. Excellent colours of greens and turquoise. Saw trout in the stream. 1/2 #travel #adventure #water #nzl

Thought I might share my walk at Maungatautari last week. I explored the Northern enclosure. A restful place with lots of bird song, green ferns, & ponga. The track begins/ends over farmland, and the trail has harekeke alongside. The tui made the most of the flowers. 1/n #travel #adventure #nzl 🪶
