The shitty UFT contract has been ratified by the rank & file. A pay cut disguised as a pay raise & knowing full well our healthcare isn't protected. Adams wants billions in "savings" from city worker health coverage and the UFT Unity caucus sure as hell isn't going to fight for it. What's the point of having a union that won't fight for you? @Davidtoddmccarty I'm a NYC union public school art teacher. I enjoy my job, but I have little energy for my own work. I'm very glad for the benefits and retirement plan. I struggled as a freelance artist. But I'm ready to retire.... unfortunately Tier 6 city employees got royally fucked, they changed retirement from 55 to 63 with serious cuts.
