Norway joins France’s nuclear deterrence club.

The addition of Norway, traditionally very close to the US, to the initiative is yet another example of how European countries are rethinking their security strategies in light of Russia’s war on Ukraine and concerns about the Trump administration’s reliability.

Several European countries, including Germany, Poland and Sweden, have already started talks with Paris.
