Nearly two-thirds, or 63%, of poll respondents agreed that concerns about #Iran’s nuclear program were best solved through diplomacy and sanctions; only 37% agreed they were best addressed with military action. Meanwhile, 58% of respondents agreed that US #military action against Iran weakens the US, rather than strengthening it.
As members of J Street’s leadership point out, the findings indicate that most #Jewish Americans want peace.
Notably, the poll also showed broad support among American #Jews for conditioning aid to #Israel, with 44% saying that weapons sales must comply with #US law and 26% saying the US should cut off aid entirely.

Over the past week, both the U.S. and Iran delivered frameworks to mediators aimed at ending the ongoing war. The Trump administration is now insisting that its framework must be the basis for any negotiations, a high-level #Iranian official told #DropSiteNews, as President Donald Trump’s top envoy on Friday repeatedly asserted that direct talks are imminent and that the U.S. expects a response from Tehran in the coming days.
But #Iran, which continues to launch regular missile and drone attacks at #Israel and at #US military sites across the Persian Gulf, maintains that #Trump is sinking deeper into a quagmire and Tehran will decide when the #war ends.
