First time in my life that I have been "paid" in paper cranes by children!
Some students were doing little interviews about peace in English at the Hiroshima Peace Park for their school projects. As a thank you I got some selfmade paper cranes.
Out of 7 different interviewer groups, I got 5 paper cranes.
One of the paper cranes can even flap its wings when its tail is pulled!
Somehow I feel overpaid with these little beauties...

After days spent in Hiroshima Peace Park and its associated monuments and museums, which are emotionally very intense & make one despair when looking at the world today, there are also glimmers of hope in the form of future generations singing, praying & hoping together for peace.
