This Sunday is officially the warmest November 24 ever recorded in the Netherlands, Weeronline reports. At the De Bilt weather station, 14.7 degrees were measured around midday, putting the old record from 1980 out of the books. The old record stood at 14.4 degrees.After a cold week, temperatures rose in the night from Saturday to Sunday. The reason for this was a mild south-to-southwest wind. In many places, temperatures rose to up to 16 degrees. The south of the country in particular is very warm for this time of year.
