Working on a #OpenStageControl remote #controller for #SoundDesign on my good old, bought as "for parts" #NovationCircuit. I look at the programmers guide, and sure enough I think I know #NRPN. But NO! Apparently it is expected, that I infer from the 0-127 parameter range, that the max value is steps * 128, so 16256 and not 16383.

#OPM: Bay Mud - Mental Clutter

An intriguing idea – using old recordings and a Novation Circuit to create an EP - fuels Mental Clutter. The two available tracks show that the idea might be limited but the possibilities sure aren’t. “Wake Up Pollinators” chops up a guitar into a loopy, delirious lofi workout, while “and “A Simple Celebration” is a bright, chipper synth track that channels “Baba O’Riley.”

@henrymankini @DocBolus I’m a #groovebox fan too! I have the #SynthstromDeluge and the #DirtywaveM8 as my main ones at the moment although I’ve had the #NovationCircuit, the #KorgES1 and the #ElektronOctatrack in the past.
Also a big modular fan and have a few fixed architecture bits like the #MinilogueXD and the #Roland #JX08 . I have to say if I had the cash and the space I think I’d be at high risk of collecting all the Roland Boutiques!
