With my #NovaCustom I now have the most diskspace that I've ever had in 2 pieces in my life (2x 4TB). B/c the computer remains usable under heavy load (as long as I don't mind the fan at max & the old-school crunch of spinning disks), I'm consolidating a stack of old hard drives.

Welp, I filled 4TB overnight. I cleared about 200GB, but df still says this:

/dev/mapper/md1_crypt 3.6T 3.5T 0 100% /spare

Rounding error for big disks?

@sortova Thanks! That's a very comprehensive post about the #Framework laptop and convinces me for sure that I made the right decision to chose #NovaCustom over Framework.

I sent an email to the blog's author to thank them as they don't seem to be on Fediverse.

I really appreciate all the help you all have given me in the minor things here and there with my #NovaCustom laptop.

I have one last strange problem: every day or so, all the keyboards just stop working. Pointing devices mostly still work (although some oddities). I thought maybe it was some modal dialog. or something. Get this: *hibernating* and returning from hibernate fixes it. Come back up and keyboard works again!
