Back when Mist started and we were running MS-DOS and using Amigas and Atari STs, the only systems we encountered that had names were Unix ones we logged into remotely, but now for networking purposes all Windows, Linux and Mac machines must have names. So I guess today is more of a matter of ‘dwell on your PC’s mandatory name’ day.
