I'm not interested in creating or consuming "hate speech," but I'd like to remind everyone that, in the US at least, it's a class of speech protected by the First Amendment. We're in a bad spot: a conservative Supreme Court is the only bulwark against losing that right. It's absolutely insane that there are people who consider themselves "left" who want to put elected officials in charge of what we can say and read. #notleft.

@PhoneBoy Kaczynski framing is dead-wrong: what he calls "the left" has a whole army of nonprofits and grant-writing behind it.
