BODY HAIR HAS NO GENDER

most of the time i don‘t remove my body hair

the moment it started growing
i learnt
to be ashamed of it
to remove it
(to be a “proper woman”)

then i slowly unlearnt
(still unlearning)

today i accept it
even like it
more and more
although it’s strange
‘cause people use to stare at it

sometimes i remove it again
because it looks pretty too
or for practical reasons
like going into nature (to spot ticks more quickly)
or cycling (to drive at light speed)

but most of the time
i don‘t remove my body hair
‘cause it has no gender
