My engineers spend so much of their time typing, I always hear them going on about typing and type systems and whatnot. I should send them on typing courses to speed them up to be 10x engineers. I am smart, identifying development bottlenecks like this, and this is why I get paid more than them.

Pet peeve: Someone asking a question on social media, and then criticizing the sincere answers.

Look, if you don’t want duplicate answers (because responders aren’t carefully reading the prior responses), don’t ask questions on social media. You’re gonna get those, people will enthuse before they research, that’s just how it works.

And if they’re answering in ways you didn’t want, because your question wasn’t detailed enough, that’s on you mate. Don’t be rude about it. 🤨
