Also, just in general: Maybe let's not make ANY kind of deals involving the US as long as it's a fascist dictatorship under a complete fucking doofus who proudly doesn't live up to agreements, contracts or his own word & keeps pressuring both his government & private businesses not to do so either?

I've been following this "mutual safety standards recognition" stuff out of the US/EU talks. This could be really, really bad. It would mean that US vehicles, like those giant dangerous SUVs and pickup trucks, could be freely imported into the EU in volume without having to pass EU vehicle safety standards (like pedestrian safety). I haven't seen any organised resistance to this. I'm tempted to write an article as to why I'm utterly hostile to Americans right now.
It's obviously #NotAllAmericans, but to me, watching a whole nation reject allies whose citizens have lain down their lives for wars that were of no consequence to us, is not hurtful, it's a betrayal.
It's easy to say it's not a "whole nation", but, seriously, so many didn't vote that the apathy speaks louder than anything
