@F3715H split post in case your instance has shorter character limits: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evolution
Her reasoning was: no one in more complex classes talked about generational evolution anymore.
Someone compared this to "a physics student calling quantum mechanics 'incorrect', since the Copenhagen interpretation didn't start proofs with '2 + 2 = 4'."
Although a philosopher or rhetoric-botherer might put it more precisely, that was the draining gist of it.
While I'm here: Quantum means a small amount; Mechanics means how something moves.
Quantum Mechanics describes "how small things move".
* [The UK already tones the religiosity way tf down, compared to the US or maybe elsewhere.
Also #NotAllChristians and #NotAllReligiousPeople or #NotAllSpiritualPeople sure, #ButTooMany choose to be like this.]
@harriettmb “They claim to be Christians, but every breath in their body is dedicate to harassment, hate, and negativity”
“But”?
I mean, sure, #notallchristians and all that. But I‘ve seen no evidence they‘re on average better on the harassment/hate/negativity stuff than any other group. And in a number of places they‘re far worse. (Burke would receive a hero’s welcome from America‘s Talibangelicals.)
@RickiTarr and I'm sorry that the churches who act that way seem to have become the face of Christianity to the world, or at least the country.
@mustardon
what a swiss army knife (great tool)
for the No vote to “embed Indigenous spirituality” into the constitution, we would first have to admit Indigenous people actually have their own cultures/ beliefs. so, not only were they here in 1788 (it was not terra nullius) neither were they “sine mente” (mindless) after all...
and i doubt this would offend all 43.9% of australians who identify as christians cos #NotAllChristians are rissoles
