Baroque and Rococo type flourishes in interior design and architectural illustration are quite laborious to do. I depended heavily on my 3D skills to pull off this illustration. "Hat and Stairs" is my entry for one of Krita-artists.org's monthly challenges last year.

Fairy Tale Red

Reimagining Little Red Riding Hood as an action movie star is a blast. Fairy Tale Red was my submission for last year's Fairy Tale challenge in Krita-artists.org. Quite honestly, developing the iconic hero into a formidable feminine fighter would make a great character study. I would watch a movie based on the pic.

Desert Domes

I made a decision to try and do more environment paintings about a year and a half ago . I realize that I have been heavy with character design the past few years. It wouldn't hurt to diversity my genres. "Desert Domes" was one of my attempts to address this issue last year. The piece would have probably done a lot better if the angle was wide rather than cropped like in this illustration. It's still a solid piece though.

What I want to say is old internet images like this, usually memes, especially from 2000s, and 2020s AI-generated images, usually fall into the uncanny valley, where things look almost real but slightly off, making the viewer question the authenticity.

According to many websites, this picture is used as an illustration in a stress study at St. Mary's Hospital. It is said that a study of a group revealed that even though the dolphins are completely identical, a person experiencing stress would notice differences in the two dolphins.

San Pablo City Virtual Plein Air

San Pablo City was my childhood playground. I miss it... I miss the place. And what better way to commemorate this treasured memories of mine than by doing a virtual plein air painting of one of it's most iconic locations. San Pablo Cathedral has been in existence since 1714. I can't wait to visit it IRL again.
