I love what i'm doing but what I can't understand at all is that quite a few people here hardly post their own things, but only boost what others post or any links.. but have 3 to 4 times as many followers as they follow themselves and 6 to 10 times as many "posts", which are actually only "boosts" of others.

I just call them the "social media digestive system" comfortable, uncreative, snobbish and adorn themselves with foreign feathers.

Boosting posts to share them and follow people if you often like their posts is a good thing, but to boost almost exclusively without following and even if at all only posting with the least possible effort (unresearched media links, external content without credits, etc.), I find selfish and antisocial.

For me, there are hardly any differences to the data-guzzling bots. If I observe such behavior in the future, I will block corresponding accounts, otherwise I could have gone to X.

That's why I'm thinking about keeping my "normal posts" public, but to post TOPICS and theme-based threads only for followers.

I don't know how to decide yet, but I wish for mutually inspiring conversation with people who respect each other and appreciate what the others contribute and not this indifferent, arrogant consumer behavior.

It's not for nothing that #nobot #nosnobs is in my profile and i hope i stated this clearly now.
So enough complaining, but it had to be.

I wish you a wonderful creative and enriching time!
