Our ad placement for Shiraki Press in the #norwescon program book is 🤩 (we're lower left)
I had no idea when I submitted the ad that this is where it would land, but I am 👏not👏mad👏about👏it ♥️♥️♥️
#Norwescon is this weekend, although I noped out this year and won't be there. Even for the barcon…
However, if you are attending? Make sure to go to the Endeavour Award party. (There will be fliers with the date/time and room number.)
Would anyone at #norwescon happen to have a spare N95 or KN95 I could steal? I repacked my bags today and managed to forget to put mine back in.
Thank you so much!
Norwescon day one, first shirt. I’m subtle about my opinions. ;)
Yesterday was day zero of Norwescon - loading things in, setting them up, and getting the hotel ready for the con.
Wednesday afternoon, we’re strapping four people to the top of a giant explosion-on-a-stick and hoping we can get ‘em to whip around the moon a few times before falling back down. I’ve seen oddly little excitement or even news about this. We’re going back to the moon! Sure, best-case scenario for this launch is orbiting, not landing, but it’s the furthest off this rock we’ve attempted to go in my lifetime.
Norwescon early arrivals: Launch is scheduled for “no earlier than” 6:24 p.m. EDT, which is 3:24 p.m. here. If I’m done running errands and am in my hotel room, I may be up to hosting a small watch party for those who aren’t otherwise busy with setup at that time (unless, of course, someone with a suite wants to host). I’ll post if I do decide to do this. If not, find a TV or a livestream somewhere!
