Just collected my 32 year old Land Rover Defender from the garage after a catastrophic gear box failure three weeks ago. It’s going to take a bit of getting used to… changing gear like a normal car and not stirring that stick round as if I’m making porridge. Just in time as tomorrow I need to take some animal food to my neighbours who live a couple of miles further along the forest track. Snow is forecast. #rurallife #northyorkshiremoors
Spent the morning sorting stuff in the garden still striving to find the balance between “a tidy garden” and providing safe shelter and food for wildlife.
