In serata e in nottata insiste il maltempo tra Abruzzo e Marche con neve oltre i 900-1000 metri, migliora sul versante tirrenico con schiarite.
AL SUD E SULLE ISOLE
Tempo instabile durante la giornata con piogge e temporali sparsi sia al mattino che al pomeriggio e neve fino a quote di bassa montagna, più asciutto sulla Sardegna. Al pomeriggio non sono previsti cambiamenti sostanziali. In serata e in nottata ancora maltempo al Sud e sulla Sicilia con neve oltre i 900-1000 metri, asciutto sulla Sardegna con ampie schiarite.

LA NOTIZIA: Il meteo impazzito spezza in due l’Italia. Il maltempo trasloca al Sud, mentre al Centro-Nord tornano sole e aria più pulita

Dopo un weekend agitato, caratterizzato da diffuse piogge a carattere torrenziale e montagne imbiancate, la perturbazione che ha martellato il Nord-Ovest si sta spostando lungo lo Stivale. Cosa ancora peggiore è che durante il transito questa perturbazione si è trasformata in un vortice ciclonico profondo, con pressione intorno ai 995 hPa che si traduce in aria instabile, molte nuvole e pioggia che si abbatterà al Sud.
Il maltempo arriva nel Sud Italia
Secondo il meteorologo Federico Brescia del portale iLMeteo.it, questo fronte meteorologico si è isolato nel basso Mediterraneo diventando un vortice piuttosto energico. Per effetto di ciò le correnti umide provenienti da Est si infilano sulle coste ioniche, dove scaricano l’acqua accumulata. Le zone più esposte saranno Calabria e Basilicata, dove le piogge potrebbero risultare insistenti e potrebbero durare diversi giorni, dando luogo a un vero e proprio colpo di coda dell’inverno.
In altre parole non si tratta di una tempesta di breve durata, quanto di una relativamente lunga fase di instabilità meteorologica.
Il Nord respira
Ma mentre al Sud si riprende in mano l’ombrello, al Centro-Nord la situazione è in netto miglioramento. Pur arrivando venti freddi e secchi dai Balcani, soprattutto al nord-est si assisterà a un drastico calo dell’umidità stagnante, con le raffiche di vento che si porteranno via – oltre alle nuvole – anche gran parte dello smog.
Tra mercoledì e giovedì la massa d’aria più fredda favorirà nuove nevicate sull’Appennino centro-meridionale, con i fiocchi di neve che potrebbero comparire sui rilievi di Abruzzo e Molise, anche a quote non troppo elevate per il periodo.
Al centro-nord le mattine saranno frizzanti, poi, con il sole alto, la temperatura tornerà su valori più docili e in linea con le medie tipiche di marzo.

After a turbulent weekend, characterized by widespread torrential rains and snow-capped mountains, the disturbance that had hammered the Northwest is shifting along the Italian peninsula. Worse still, during its transit, this disturbance transformed into a deep cyclonic vortex with pressure around 995 hPa, translating into unstable air, many clouds, and rain that will fall on the South.

The bad weather arrives in Southern Italy

According to meteorologist Federico Brescia of iLMeteo.it, this weather front has isolated itself in the lower Mediterranean, becoming a rather energetic vortex. As a result, humid currents from the East penetrate the Ionic coasts, discharging the accumulated water. The most exposed areas will be Calabria and Basilicata, where the rains could be persistent and could last for several days, resulting in a real winter setback.

In other words, this is not a storm of short duration, but a relatively long phase of meteorological instability.

The North breathes

But while the South picks up its umbrella, the situation in Central-Northern Italy is improving markedly. Despite the arrival of cold, dry winds from the Balkans, especially in the northeast, there will be a drastic drop in stagnant humidity, with gusts of wind carrying away – along with the clouds – much of the smog.

Between Wednesday and Thursday, the coldest air mass will favor new snow on the central-southern Apennine Mountains, with snowflakes potentially appearing on the slopes of Abruzzo and Molise, even at not too high altitudes for the time of year.

In Central-Northern Italy, the mornings will be crisp, then, with the high sun, the temperature will return to more mild values in line with the typical March averages.

Il Tempo: "Piogge e rovesci". 3bmeteo: dove arriverà il peggio

Nelle prossime ore al Nord le piogge tenderanno ad estendersi dal Nordovest verso Lombardia e ovest dell'Emilia tra il pomeriggio e la sera; sulle Alpi centro-occidentali tornerà anche la neve oltre i 1300-1500 metri. Sul Triveneto, invece, spazio a schiarite anche ampie.

Come descritto sul sito 3bmeteo.com al Centro la giornata di mercoledì inizierà con cielo poco nuvoloso, fatta eccezione per qualche addensamento sull'alta Toscana. Con il passare delle ore sono attesi alcuni rovesci tra la Toscana settentrionale e le zone interne, mentre sul resto dell'Appennino non mancherà un po' di variabilità diurna; altrove tempo più soleggiato e asciutto. Al Sud nubi sparse alternate a schiarite. Nel pomeriggio maggiore instabilità lungo l'Appennino e sulla Puglia interna, con qualche rovescio destinato ad attenuarsi entro sera. In Sardegna l'instabilità aumenterà temporaneamente durante la giornata con alcuni rovesci sulle aree centro-settentrionali, seguiti da un miglioramento in serata.
