I'm sure anyone from #Norfolk will say "Walking Tractor" to themselves when they see that image.

An explanation will be offered to outsiders on request.

Well, after years of being a purely visual astronomer, I got myself a ZWO Seestar S50 and started doing some astrophotography. It’s fun.

I’ve now got a growing gallery on AstroBin:

Anyone looking for a Covid/virus-conscious flatmate/lodger? Ideally East Anglia/London. Unfortunately allergic to cats. Happy to provide more information on request. Please boost for visibility. Any hashtags I should use?

Small world! Small #village! #EastWalton (Pop:87) #Norfolk

Between 1999-2009 I used to live there.

In those days, before everyone was used to buy things online, some dwellings had neither a number or name, and those clustered around the common, at the end of Common Lane, didn't even have a road name. So their official address was

[Surname]
The Common
East Walton
KINGS LYNN
PE32 1PX

Now, it seems, some of the cottages don't even have official postal addresses and just two are numbered - 7 and 8.

There's a good reason for the expression #NormalForNorfolk

Back in January we found out a Black-Bellied Dipper had been sighted at Bintree Mill, about 30 mins from home. A Dipper, in Norfolk!

We headed out in the cold and snow to take a look, see if we could see it. It was very cold so we only lasted about an hour. It was just long enough to catch a glimpse, to see the white bib but not enough to raise my camera before it was gone.

Also around the mill and river area including under the bridge was a Snipe, a Marsh Harrier and the little Wren below.
