I'm excited to be a part of the group exhibition 'Encore' - opening tonight at Gallery Unbound, Northcote.

It was a joy to dive back into oil paint again after a long break. This painting is based on a series of watercolours I made when I was in Finland last year.

A month long residency starts now at @artelescreativecenter , Finland. I am looking forward to immersing myself in all the greenery and (extremely) long days to work on my practice.

The weather was nice, so I spent a while today cleaning the #barbecue which hadn't been used since last summer I think... Vinegar, baking soda, and a scouring pad, and some elbow grease did wonders fortunately. :)

The bottom air vent is rusted stuck though, and I'm not sure the legs will survive another winter, so I might replace it at the end of the season when the #grills inevitably go on discount; picked this one up for less than 10 bucks (or was it 5 even?) about 2 or 3 years too.
