oddpixelToday, like every other day online, I block every profile that relies on environmentally destructive #aislop in their posts online. Historically, I have called them out on it, I have encouraged them to use imagery available under a permissive Creative Commons license or something similar
I get dismissed, and I repeated the routine the next day. I've gotten nowhere with it.
But the truth is this; at the end of the day, these individuals are malicious and intellectually lazy. They want a plagiarism machine to barf out a slurry of stolen bits from actual labor, planet be damned.
So now I just block them. They don't know, nor would they care. I just don't have the energy or influence to topple a multibillion dollar marketing campaign that wins the hearts and minds of these types of people.
So, hats off to the useful idiots that lick the boots of the AI broligarchy; may their water sources be as dried up as everyone else's.
